Long time coming

  During the last few months DH and I have been getting ready to move into a senior facility where we no longer have to worry about meals and have "in-suite" laundry. Everything an elderly couple might benefit from, but not the huge studio I'm used to.  Also during that time, I received a diagnosis of Macular Degeneration.  So the life of an artist, as I know it, is over and my artist's soul needs to find some other outlet. I slowly determined what I could take with me and what would have to go.  No dyeing.  No fabric painting.  No design wall.  With no fabric painting, there was no point in the stamping and stamp making.  No need for any paint or dye either.  Over the past few months I've got rid of anything that couldn't go, by selling it, giving it away or throwing it out.
