Not much time in the studio over the past couple of months.  I guess there comes  a time in life when domestic and medical issues become greater concerns. I did take a workshop on making a kaleidoscope quilt.  In my EPP I'm wanting to dive into very complex quilts such those designed and made by Willyne Hammerstein, the most popular one being "La Passacaglia".  This quilt is often discussed on the internet and Pintrest. One suggestion to those considering making this piece is to take a class in "Stack'n'Whack or Kaleidoscope quilts first.  So I did and I'm very glad I did.  I thinking I'll be trying something a little less demanding before tackling "LaPassacaglia. Meanwhile, I'm working on finishing the piece I started in the Kaleidoscope class.  Spent a couple of hours yesterday figuring out where I went wrong on this piece.  But at last the light bulb went on, and that problem got corrected, but I also came to recognize that I hadn't ma...
